Beware phone scammers

NO MEMBER OF THE KENTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WILL CALL TO ASK FOR PAYMENT OR DEMAND MONEY OVER THE PHONE.

Scams come in many varieties and often include missed Jury Duty or Court Dates with the threat of an Arrest Warrant.

Callers may disguise their phone numbers as if they are calling from the KCSO. They may impersonate a legitimate KCSO representative.
