Kenton County Government Center and Independence Courthouse Closed to the Public.

To help ensure the safety of our employees and the public with who we have face to face interaction, the Kenton County Sheriff’s Office located at 1840 Simon Kenton Way and at the Independence Courthouse will be closed to the public. 

This measure is in response to concerns over the ever developing situation COVID-19, Coronavirus.

In order to pay 2019 property or tangible tax bills please use the online website to pay by credit card or mail your payment by check to our P.O. Box:
Kenton County Sheriff,
P.O Box 188070,
Erlanger, KY 41018.  

DUE DATE FOR 2019 PROPERTY AND TANGIBLE TAX HAS BEEN EXTENDED 30 DAYS.  NEW DUE DATE IS 15 MAY 2020.  

Postmarks of May 15, 2020 will be honored for the due amount shown for the Penalty 2 amount.

Working with Heritage Bank, we have reopened collections for 2019 Kenton County tax bills at every Heritage branch location effective Tuesday, March 17th.  A COPY OF THE TAX BILL WILL NEED TO BE PRESENTED.  Heritage branches will accept Penalty 2 due amount thru the end of business day May 15, 2020.
